"The beard trimmer works great. I keep my beard short and clean and I use the lower guard. It cuts much closer than the previous version of the beard trimmer which was my main complaint(and I ended up not using previous version at all), however I do still have to use my body trimmer to keep my neck clean as this beard trimmer doesn't seem to work as well to shave a larger area of bare skin--and in all fairness, I don't think it was designed for that. This trimmer is really great for creating smooth edging lines though."
